The double-layered hat with a simple cable pattern is started at one tip and is worked continuously in the round. Increases are used to achieve the final width, then the hat is worked to a length of approx. 68 cm/26.8” without further increases. Decreases from the second tip of the hat. One half of the hat is pulled inwards, creating the double-layered hat and the wide lower edge is then turned up.

GAUGE

26 sts and 40 rows using ndl size 3.25 mm (US 3/UK 11) and double stranded (1 strand Modena and 1 strand Premia) in main pattern = 10 x 10 cm/4” square
