Miran has a rectangular shape and is knitted flat from one end to the other. The top and bottom of the shawl are worked in garter stitch, while you can follow the charts or the written instructions for the different lace sections. The Distitch Selvedge Edge technique by Assia Brill gives the shawl an exceptionally refined finish along the long edges.

Miran is a design from our 2023 collection. In these turbulent times, there is much cause for reflection. And especially the desire for serenity and calm, for light-heartedness and peace. We have therefore named the designs in this collection after this longing, in different languages. Miran is Croatian and means peaceful.
