Olive’s Swing Skirt is a short and simple skirt in stockinette stitch with plenty of width for twirling. It is worked in the round from the top down using 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk.
You start with the folded waistband, shape the skirt with increases and short rows before finishing with a picot edge. The waistband has an elastic inserted.

Yarn:
Knitting for Olive Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk (250 m 273 yd / 50 g 1.8 oz), fingering weight yarn, 2 (2, 3, 4, 4) balls.

Needles:
3 mm / US2.5 circular needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking):
28 sts and 38 rows = 10 cm 4” in st st with 3 mm / US2.5 needles
